Community Guidelines

Last updated: August 13, 2025

Welcome to the EchoedWild community! These guidelines are designed to create a safe, respectful, and educational environment where wildlife enthusiasts, students, and conservation advocates can connect, learn, and share their passion for protecting endangered species.

๐Ÿพ Be Kind, Stay Wild

Respect all community members. We value diverse perspectives and experiences. No hate speech, bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will be tolerated. This includes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Constructive disagreement is welcome, but personal attacks are not.

๐Ÿงผ Keep It Clean

Maintain a family-friendly environment appropriate for students and learners of all ages. No spam, NSFW content, excessive profanity, or inappropriate material. Self-promotion should be limited and relevant to wildlife education and conservation. Keep discussions focused, productive, and welcoming to all community members.

๐Ÿ“ธ Share Thoughtfully

Only submit content you own or have explicit permission to share. Always credit creators, photographers, and sources when sharing images, articles, or other content. Respect copyright and intellectual property rights. If you're unsure about permissions, it's better to link to the original source rather than reposting content.

๐ŸŒฑ Protect Nature & Each Other

Do not share personal information about yourself or others. This includes addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or any sensitive private information. Do not encourage or provide instructions for harmful activities toward wildlife, habitats, or ecosystems. Report any content that suggests harming animals or their environments.

๐ŸŽญ Respect the Vibe

EchoedWild is an expressive, educational, and conservation-focused community. Keep your contributions aligned with our mission of wildlife education and conservation. While we encourage creativity and personality, ensure your content remains relevant to our purpose and values. This is a space for learning and positive action.

๏ฟฝ Educational Focus

Prioritize accurate, science-based information when discussing wildlife, conservation, and environmental topics. Cite reputable sources when sharing facts or statistics. Acknowledge when information is uncertain or subject to scientific debate. We're all here to learn, so approach discussions with curiosity and openness to new information.

๐Ÿค Constructive Collaboration

Engage in good faith discussions. Listen to others' perspectives and respond thoughtfully. When correcting misinformation, do so respectfully and provide evidence. Celebrate others' contributions and successes. We're all working toward the same goal of wildlife conservation.

๐Ÿ”’ Privacy and Safety

Never request or share personal information. Report any suspicious behavior or safety concerns to moderators immediately. Be cautious about clicking on external links and verify sources before sharing. Protect your own privacy and respect others' privacy as well.

๐ŸŒ Global Perspective

Our community is global, with members from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Be mindful of cultural differences and avoid assumptions. Wildlife conservation challenges vary by region, and local knowledge is valuable. Learn from community members around the world and share your own regional insights.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Moderation and Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines and to take appropriate action against users who repeatedly break the rules. Enforcement actions may include content removal, temporary restrictions, or permanent bans depending on the severity and frequency of violations. Decisions are made at moderator discretion to maintain community safety and integrity.

๐Ÿ“ Reporting Guidelines

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it through our contact form or directly to moderators. Provide specific details about the concern, including relevant context. Reports are reviewed promptly, and we take all reports seriously. False or malicious reporting may result in account restrictions.

๐Ÿ”„ Guidelines Updates

We may update these community guidelines as our platform evolves. Significant changes will be announced to the community. Your continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines. We encourage community feedback on these guidelines and welcome suggestions for improvement.

๐Ÿค Partnership and Collaboration

We welcome partnerships with conservation organizations, educational institutions, and wildlife experts. If you represent an organization interested in collaborating with EchoedWild, please contact us through our official channels. All partnerships must align with our educational mission and community values.

โšก Emergency Situations

If you encounter emergency situations involving wildlife (injured animals, illegal activities, immediate threats), contact local wildlife authorities, emergency services, or appropriate conservation organizations. EchoedWild is an educational platform and cannot respond to emergency wildlife situations directly.

โ“ Questions and Support

If you have questions about these guidelines, need clarification, or want to report a concern, please contact us through our contact form. We're here to help and want to ensure EchoedWild remains a positive, educational community for everyone interested in wildlife conservation.
